4" x 12" plaques

Plaques are typically 101.6mm (4in) wide x 304.8mm (12in) long, gated at the narrow end. They are usually injection-molded. These dimensions are best for inducing fully developed flow in filled plastics. If this is not a concern, other sizes or processing methods can be used.

Specimens are typically cut from plaques by DatapointLabs.
