Plate rheology disks

These tests are performed on the material in its melt state. If solid at room temperature, disks can be molded or cut from sheets provided. For some tests, where the sheet is not of adequate thickness, it may be necessary to stack punched disks to make up the required dimension. The specimen can also be created in-situ by melting plastic pellets or a powder. Where the material is a fluid or paste, these can be used directly in the instrument without preparation.
