Description
A Dynatup POE 2000 apparatus is used to impact a specimen. Specimens are bars with dimensions specified in ASTM and notched accordingly. Sample is placed horizontally, with notch opposite of impact side. At set velocity and energy, pendulum is released to impact specimen. Test is complete when pendulum completes one swing. Five replicates are performed.

Application
