Cure Kinetics by DMA -non isothermal
A dynamic mechanical analyzer is used with a parallel plate setup. An uncured sample is placed between the plates at a room temperature and a heating scan is run at a constant frequency. The scan is run until the material stops curing. From complex viscosity data, a cure rate can be calculated.
This test is performed at constant heating rate. For isothermal kinetics, please select R-027

Curing kinetics is useful for deterimining the the rate at which materials "set-up". It is useful to run heating rates to enable modeling of kinetic equations.
