Forming Limit Diagram (FLD)
Cupping experiments are performed on sheet specimens of specified geometries using a universal testing machine or compression fixture. Plastic strains in the principal axes at failure are determined. Forming limit diagrams are generated using three different specimen configurations designed to produce varying states of triaxiality.

Forming Limit Diagram. This data appears in Matereality as FLC.
Number of times this test is repeated: 3
30 thin sheets or film [details]
Data is to be used in GISSMO material failure model and other metal forming models to capture failure v. triaxiality behavior.
