LS-DYNA Hyperviscoelastic Rubber (MAT_077)G-782
Description
Testing and model fitting areperformed to generate data for hyperviscoelastic rubber material models. Hyperelastic material properties are generated as per [G-780] with either a Mooney-Rivlin or Ogden model. Additionally, stress relaxation measurements are performed and a six parameter Prony series is fit to the master curve viscoelastic data. Both models are used to create a MAT_077 model for LS-DYNA (either MAT_077_H or MAT_077_O depending on what hyperelastic model is used in fitting).
Included Tests
1x | D-010 | Solid Density |
1x | M-205 | Tensile Properties of Elastomers |
1x | M-211 | Lubricated Compressive Stress-Strain (Biaxial Tension) |
1x | M-611 | Stress Relaxation/Creep Compliance by Time Sweeps |
Options
If simulations of mullin's effect are desired, please specify "precycling".
Samples
: 6 hyperelastic test specimens
Application
This model is useful for hyperelastic materials that show rate effects. This can be used to simulate impact loading or creep situations depending on how the stress-relaxation measurements are made.
