Volumetric Stress Strain CurvesM-214
Description
A sample is placed in a test cell and completely surrounded by an incompessible confining fluid. The surrounding fluid is then compessed to impart volumetric compression to the specimen. The change in volume is measured and thus a volumetric stress strain in produced.
