Description

Properties needed to perform a VISI Flow injection mold-filling and shape simulation are generated. These include viscosity vs. shear rate at three temperatures (two in the processing range and one below); melt thermal conductivity, specific heat and latent heat if applicable, melt and solid density, a no-flow temperature, and an eject temperature. Thermal diffusivity is calculated. Additionally, tensile modulus vs. temperature, Poisson's Ratio and thermal expansion are measured in parallel and transverse direction.
