Thermal Expansion Coefficient by TMA (Anisotropic) for General Motors applicationsT-302 GM

Description

This test measures thermal expansion coefficient using a thermomechanical analyzer fitted with quartz thermal expansion fixture. Data is taken in flow and x-flow directions to determine anisotropy. Data(probe position) is collected over an initial heating phase, a cooling phase, and a reheating phase. Calculations for the thermal expansion coefficient are performed on the reheating phase.

Options

Other test orientations can be specified based on client needs.

Standards

  • ISO 11359-2

Data
