Abaqus Finite Elastic Plasticity (*HYPERELASTIC *PLASTIC)
This model is used to describe plastic deformations that occur in what is classically described as the elastic portion of a stress-strain curve. The model combines non-linear elastic data with true plasticity data. The TestPak includes Young’s Modulus and tensile stress-strain curves, and a plastic point in tension experiment.

Temperature dependence can also be incorporated into this model by ordering the model at multiple temperatures.

The model can be used to describe non-linear elasticity in plastics and elastomers that is combined with permanent plastic deformation. Paper
